Refund Policy
Company: ZEROSYNTAX (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (“we,” “us,” or “our”)
1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all premium features, in-app purchases (IAPs), and auto-renewing subscriptions made within the mobile applications developed by ZEROSYNTAX (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED (including Ask AI Agent, AI Home Decor, and our utility suites).
By making a purchase in our apps, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Payment Processing
We do not directly process payments, collect credit card details, or manage billing cycles. All transactions, subscriptions, and financial data are handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. Therefore, most refund requests must be routed directly through the Google Play Store system.
3. The 48-Hour Google Play Refund Window
If it has been less than 48 hours since you purchased an app, an in-app item, or a subscription, you can request a refund directly through Google. This is the fastest and most reliable way to receive your money back.
How to request a refund from Google Play:
- Open a web browser and go to play.google.com.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history.
- Find the Zer0Syntax order you want to return.
- Click Report a problem, select the option that describes your situation, complete the form, and explicitly state that you would like a refund.
- Google usually provides a decision within 1 to 4 business days.
4. Developer Refund Requests (After 48 Hours)
If it has been more than 48 hours since your purchase, refund requests are handled by our support team on a strict case-by-case basis.
We generally do not provide refunds in the following scenarios:
- Change of Mind: You simply changed your mind or no longer want to use the app.
- Failure to Cancel: You forgot to cancel your subscription before the free trial ended or before the next billing cycle began.
- Consumed AI Credits: Because our Ask AI Agent and AI Home Decor apps incur high cloud-server costs to generate responses and renders, we cannot refund consumable purchases (like “AI credits” or “Generation Tokens”) if they have already been used.
We may grant a refund if:
- The app contains a critical technical bug that prevents you from using the premium features you paid for, and our support team is unable to resolve it.
- You made an accidental duplicate purchase of the same non-consumable item.
To request a developer review for a refund, please contact info@zer0syntax.com and include your Google Play Order Number (starts with GPA.) which can be found on your email receipt.
5. Managing and Canceling Subscriptions
Uninstalling our apps will not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel the subscription manually in the Google Play Store to stop future billing.
How to cancel a subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon in the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select the Zer0Syntax app subscription you wish to cancel.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.
Once canceled, you will still have access to your premium features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for the remaining days of a canceled billing cycle.
6. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
